PHASE 1: Develop a Blueprint
The Player Assessment breaks down your players mindset into 7 Mental Skills that they must develop to build a strong foundation and achieve success: Motivation, Confidence, Focus, Self-Awareness, Discipline, Resiliency, Emotion Control. This breakdown helps us customize your players system, creates a baseline for us to keep you and your player accountable for progress and development, assesses your players openness to change, willingness to act and commitment to accomplishment.
Without a clear understanding or picture of who a player is, where the player wants to go or what it means to be successful, players can’t target success because they can’t define success. Developing a blueprint cultivates self-awareness and targets specific routines, actions and behaviors that lead to positive outcomes.
PHASE 2: Customize the Tools
Blueprints and plans rarely come to fruition and are never sustainable without a foundation of successful habits, actions, behaviors, and the right tools. Developing greatness requires customized strategies that are proven and can be repeated.
We have 3 sets of tools to help your player develop reliable routines and build a customized mental toolbox. These tools shape new attitudes that build confidence, diminish doubt, crush anxiety, and maximize performance.
Players who embrace positivity, believe in themselves, and have confidence display optimal performance levels because they expect to succeed and remain motivated to succeed. Routines create discipline and structure. Discipline and structure lead to focus and concentration and a prepared player is a player ready to compete. A narrow focus brings big results. The number one reason players fail to achieve is because of misguided focus. Today’s goal is to stack more small wins on top of yesterday’s small wins.
PHASE 3: Manage and Boost
Achieving greatness requires self-motivation, self-discipline, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. The mental game requires constant work and refinement. It’s an ongoing process of reflection, emotional control, self-awareness, and growth.
Day after day, month after month and season after season, your player must assess, adjust, enhance, and tweak and tinker. As situations change, it’s normal (and needed) for core priorities, habits, and routines to adapt. As time passes, players need to manage and boost to grow.
We promote and teach success metrics to help players monitor results, stay committed and remain motivated. Players must be taught how to separate outcome from evaluation when assessing performance and that there’s a huge difference between failures and setbacks. We love setbacks because we see them as opportunities to learn, refocus, refuel, and become resilient. Setbacks create a heightened sense of the here and now and present us with the ultimate gut-check: look back or look forward with boosted resolve and determination.
Our 1-on-1 coaching sessions are in person, on zoom, or via phone and they are scheduled based on your players’ needs and availability. The process begins with a free 30 minute 1-on-1 intro session, then we’ll recommend which option will be the best fit for your player. The first session is generally 1 hour, and the remaining sessions are 30 minutes.

****Energy Days (approximately a 2-hr. session) are days when we STEP ON THE GAS and accelerate your players’ journey. When and how these sessions are used are unique to each athlete and their needs, but generally, they are used for either:
a) Reviewing a recent game performance and provide feedback on play, attitude, body language, effort, and grit. Our clients love this because it leads to amazing dialogue that realigns, refuels, and reenergizes performance, mindset, and approach.
b) Tackling current obstacles, narrowing focus, overcoming adversity, or moving through big emotions by developing an immediate action plan to optimize growth.
